“ I was very excited to come here after all the glowing reviews. The garden and setting was absolutely beautiful. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I was a bit disappointed with the food. I didn’t really enjoy any of the pre entre food. The watermelon with cashew cheese was not to my taste and I found the dim sun bland and soggy. The thai papaya salad was ok. We both received a thin slice of wagu beef which was delicious but it was a very small portion with nothing accompanied with it. The entre of leaf pasta and prawn was lovely and the main, a chicken curry was nice. The coffee and dessert were also nice. I had two classes of wine and the bill came to $85 Australian which is quite expensive for what we ate. There was only one other table that night so maybe we didnt come on the best night. I truly believe the food is made with love and passion but unfortunately I wasn’t so excited by it. However, it was a lovely experience ”

The cheesecake - a highlight! The low carb noodles - enak sekaliiiii! Honestly, I don't think I could have picked a better venue in Sanur for our dinner. Malaika stayed the entire night, was ready at any moment, and even sourced us towels and a change of clothes when we jumped in the pool with our birthday cheesecake!! We had 6–8 small dishes brought out one by one, and everything was fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. The vegan cheese was especially impressive! It’s a small, home-style setting tucked away down a quiet street, so booking ahead is a must. A really enjoyable and relaxed experience, out of the hustle and bustle of the main beach area. ”

Years later I spontaneously passed by and luckily there was a cancelation so I got one of the few tables and oh my was I surprised as I came with zero expectations and was blown away from the first dish on. 6 or 7 surprise dishes all organic and mostly vegan but also fish with beautiful flavor combinations.
